First night onboard ship

Well I am officially out of the UK in about forty five minutes time.

In the waiting lobby to get on the ferry I met up with a Danish lady and her NZ Border Collie, plus a Georgie biker who sadly was on his way to play the Organ at his auties / grandma's funeral later in the week.

We exchanged pleasantries for quite a few minutes before we were allowed on board and although throughout the night I bumped into them a few times, because of the lateness and tiredness { plus the price of alcohol onboard ship } meant that not a lot of socialising was one before we all went our separate ways.

The cinema was showing Hancock, the prices for anything onboard ship was higher than even British Rail and the Casino was just a poker table and a roulette wheel, but then what exactly did I expect on board a ship where the space was at an absolute premium.

The good news was that the ship did appear to have wireless onboard at selected sections, which would have been even better if i could pick it up in my room with my DLink adapter, but it would appear that it does indeed need to be linked to a specific network in order to benefit from its extended range.

As such, I might try and take a trip down to the nearest point a bit later on, once the laptop battery is fully charges, but for now I will just amuse myself and have an early night.
