Today I had planned and paid for a trip to the Mekond Delta, an area of natural beauty and wonder, however my body had other ideas. I woke up in plenty of time but after more than a couple of trips next door I seriously doubted my ability to make it a couple of hours without needing to visit the happy room and so a lengthy trip to the coast would be more discomfort than enjoyment.
Instead I chose to spend the morning in my hotel room, seing if I felt any better by lunchtime or if the day would be a complete write off.
